Music began for me when I received a copy of Stevie Wonder's greatest hits! My whole life shifted and the sounds that were blessing my ears continue to do so today. My first love is the trumpet, I began playing in 6th grade (the same year I got the Stevie Wonder CD), since then I have ventured off and learned how to play the drums, the keyboard and to use my voice to sing. 

 

Growing up in the church mixed with my influence from Stevie brought out some AMAZING song ideas that I honestly was too young to comprehend. Once I hit 19 I started to put things together and formed my first band with Josiah Greklek. We first were called "Tribe of Judah" and later changed our name to "DeVante Blow and True Horizon."

With a wide range of genres to pick from we began to play gigs and even hosted a few concerts of our own, these early years would be the foundation to who and that I am today. 

 

Time has passed since True Horizon has been able to be together (thanks Covid) but my passion to create hasn't stopped at all! I am looking forward to sharing with the world my next project.
